Good move for both of them - I'm very much in favour of these dual reg deals, as a step up from U20's rugby. neither of them would improve much more if left in the reserves.
Widnes have just given Ben Kavanagh a 3-year deal too.

Really looking forward to seeing how they get on at Widnes. Guys like Farrell, Tuson and Charnley have all benefited from spells elsewhere and these 2 should be no different.
I'd expect both to make their first team Wigan debuts before the end of the season in all honesty and they will be match ready due to these moves.

The loan system works well I would like to see all Super league teams have a championship team linked to them. The championship would be stronger for having U20 players who need to prove themselves outside of age group rugby
