Wigan's young lads showed up BIG TIME. That is as high a level a game of rugby league can get in this country and all your young lads stood tall, you should be proud. Like a previous poster said the win means very little, just a truly great game of rugby league and played in the right spirit. No sh&thouses like Bailey assaulting people,.

I'm confident we'll look back on that showing tonight as a season defining moment when its all done and dusted.



Never felt as confident that we'll take out a major trophy as I do now.

Put oloughlin and green in and we win. Add in flower and taylor, we win by ten. Hansen was massive, smith was much improved in the second half, crosby is rapid, powell went well.

No irony here but being a Wire fan I just wanted to congratulate you even though you lost those young players you have a fantastic. Ill be honest seeing who you had missing I thought it would be a lot more than the score line suggested. A lot of credit has to go to your club and they way the young players stood out and put a performance in like that against one of the best teams in the league was a very good performance. Even though you did lose me proud of your players because they were amazing tonight, look forward to playing you again very soon.

Superb effort from the Wigan boys.

Very proud of our boys tonight. Our first choice 6, 9 & 13 missing. Down to our 3rd or 4th string props, very, very good performance tonight. for 35 minutes of that second half we absolutely dominated. Had we had at O'Loughlin, Green & Mickey I think we may have nicked it. Our young lads will take a lot from that defeat, probably more than they would have, had we won. They know now what it takes to win a big game, and i'm confident this will do them wonders for years to come.

You're doing your players a disservice calling them 'kids'. I think there's only Wigan and Leeds with the strength in depth to field 2 competitive SL teams.



Played a blinder tonight in a game that could have gone either way, scoreline flattered Wire. Statistically ahead after first half but down on points due to sods law and that was the difference in the end.



No shame in a great game.

great game, no-one deserved to lose. Wigan were quite under strength, even had 3 players who have played for Leigh (us) out there tonight.

Ignore the trolls, they can't really take the p***, and mean it.

Could be the last time Warrington beat Wigan for a while that.



Reckon the next 2-4 years, with the players Warrington are going to lose and no apparent signings coming in, Wigan will return to the ascendancy in the derbies.

The only qualm I have from tonight is why the hell didn't he play George Williams?! We could have had another forward on the bench but instead we had Williams who didn't even get a chance.



Apart from that, thought it was a fantastic effort and a fantastic game!

Outstanding tonight, however the lads put a hell of a lot of effort in, Fridays match could be too much too soon

The only other options really were lloyd and spencer, and we already had 5 back rowers playing.
