Thought Finch was fine today. He missed a kick or two, but otherwise linked up play quite well. Still more to come from him though.

Deacon was outstanding today . for me anyway

I couldn't care less how many mistakes Deacon makes per game as long as we win.

Lets not forget people that deacs is only human and everyone makes mistakes experienced or not its a fact of human life

It was Finchs kick to the corner that Gardner put dead that gave us the field position to set up the winning try.

i thought Finch made a couple of decent tackles, and the kick that Rogues mentions that set us up for the try. Deacon did make a couple of mistakes but who doesn't?

Yes, lets get rid quickly, after all he's a pivotal player coming back from an injury trying to play in a new team that has spent most of this season being under par. Just wish we'd got rid of Richards after his start to his Wigan career, just think of the money we'd have saved...

Another one I heard today was "Finch is crap - Lenagan should bin him off."



I had this vision in my mind's eye of IL hiring a hit-man to top him and then dump him in a dustbin. It would certainly be less expensive.

It was Lima and Finch who should be binned off back to Aus and "get the kids in" at half time near me. We really do have an embarrassing amount of knee jerk, know nowt, s, who change like the wind.

Bang on mate. Some of the e i heard in the stands today about finch was embarrassing. Come on here after a great derby win, and people are still having a p1ss and moan now! Will never be happy.



Finch wasnt a state of origin player for nothing. Expecting him to light the place up after 4 or 5 games is ridiculous. I thought he had a much better game today. Linked up much better and tried out some different passes.



As for Deacs, his kicking game was great today, plus the match winning pass and regardless of his size, he will throw himself about and tackle anything. Glad he was back.

Deacon is up there with Carmont as competing for the "most undervalued player" award.



If I have one worry about this season it's that MM will use Deacon without bringing anyone on for next season.
