| Quote dirtbag83="dirtbag83"Not really sure which option in that poll sums my feelings on Finch up te best. You don't get selected to play State Of Origin 3 times without having something about you
Have I been disappointed so far? Yes
Do I think he's improving? Yes
Do I think we've seen his best form in a Wigan shirt? Not by a long way
I'm certain Finch will come good by the business end of the season though'"
Agree with this. Was maybe expecting a bit too much from him straight away after his injury lay off but have every confidence he is going to continue to improve and be a key player for us.

This for me. I still find sometimes Deacon does the simple things better and we are quicker when we switch the play, or would people say this is more down to teams knowing what to expect now from us this year?
I like Finch's option of playing the flat pass, seems a move him and Hoffman have brought from Melbourne. Still expect a lot more from Finch but he's settling and if he carries on at this rate, come GF time we will be fine

| Never really watched him play in the NRL so i have no idea of how good he can be but based on his form so far i hope he is going to get a lot better.
He just doesnt look settled to me, yes he had a decent game at Bradford and has shown some nice touches - especially some of his long range passing but some of the wayward passing and poor kicking / decision making frustrate me.
Out of the three new signings Finch is the one that needs to improve the most imo - i hope thats sooner rather than later.

| For people criticising his short passing game - its the players around him who need to adapt to his passing, Hoffman always catches them and makes plenty of yards. I cant wait to see Hock running from an angle onto one of Finch's passes. Try time!

I agree that the idea of the short ball has been good but his execution was poor in his first few games, sometimes picking the wrong pass and sometimes just throwing the ball far too hard. Now hes had more training sessions and games under his belt the players a now getting closer to being on the same wavelength.

| Just watched the replay of the Bradford game and Finch had a very good game. His timing of the pass is whats improving week on week and he looks far fitter aswell. He will continue to improve as he plays more games and the other players(especially our backrowers) get to know his game and run better lines for him.

| Finchs pass for Farrell for Fazs try was nothing short of superb.
Okay it was a 1 yard pass, but it was made at the right time - all Farrell had to do was put it down after a little jink.
Kepp Faith in Finch.

It was a fine pass and i'm sure theres plenty more of them in his locker especially when players run good lines like Faz did in that instance. In Farrell we have a young lad that makes very intelligent movements close to the opposition try line and him and Finch really could build up a great understanding.

| Begining to warm, and hopefully he plays his best for Wigan.
I'm not getting too excited about his long term future as MM needs both a new 6 & 7 at the Rabbits next season and expect Finch to take one of those places; hopefully the other place goes to a Ozzie currently in the NRl and not from us.
