| Quote TrentBarrett="TrentBarrett"It was disappointing to see Sam swear on national TV whilst he's representing Wigan but the way people are talking the incident to be some thing it isn't he should be rightly fined and given a good talking to. [uI'm having serious doubts as to Sam being awarded MOS he's already an unpopular player amongst other teams[/u.'"
I said this the other day, there is now for me no doubt that he has been the best player this season BUT this is voted for by the players and the players consensus (even talking to some) is that they can't stand him, they think he's disrespectful and mocks other players and they don't see the need for it.
If he just played rugby he'd walk it but it may be worth if you're a betting man having a cheeky punt on Roby.
Your 1st point i also agree with, fine him and b*ll*k him INTERNALLY and POSSIBLY make him release an apologetic statement.
A talk of a ban is just a massive over reaction + i want him playing next week, i'm of the old school thought of i always want the opposition at full strength.

I agree with this and also don't think he should be banned.

I've always thought you speak a lot of sense and represent the good side of Warrington fans, and I agree it wouldn't suprise me if Roby wins MOS he has the respect of fans and player a like.

Cheerio then.
Pathetic over-reaction.

This. Yed, stop being an astute and reasonable poster. It makes it difficult to tar all Wire fans with the same brush!

| What about when we played Wire at Wire in 2010, Mathers and Myler both give the fingers to us fans, what happens, nothing, shut up.
I remember Graham giving us the w@nker sign at Knowsley Road a few years ago, who gives a toss seriously.
Storm in a tea cup, doesn't warrant an apology as what happens when opposition fans sing 'Sam is a w@nker' etc are they going to apologise if it gets picked up on Sky, what bout when certain teams score and it shows the crowd giving the sticks after they have scored?
So what Sam gave the sticks to the Leeds fans, they deserve it for booing him whilst representing England, anyone with half a brain wouldn't take offence as I would just class it as banter.
Sam not getting MOS for giving the Leeds fans the fingers ha ha ha pi55 off, in your dreams.

| Can't be d reading all 14 pages..
FFS Leeds fans deserved it IMO, Sam has had to field embarrassing question because of them muppets and sticking the V's is nothing and those who feel offended need to get themselves a life.
Welcome to Britain... the nation of do-gooders!!
