Some Wire fans say they won the league because they finished top. If we threw a game (which is against the spirit of the sport and should be punished like it is in football which would obviously get wire punished for the London game) it would be wrong and it would mean that if our route was easier and we win the Gf we would've won from not finishing first (something we disliked about Leeds winning it last year) and it would mean those same wire fans could do the "we won the league" for another year. Plus who wouldnt want to beat saints 3 games in a row (assuming we did that of course)

For the record, I hate the fact that some teams don't play the strongest squad etc every week.

As a season ticket holder and regular away game fan, I pay to watch the so called best players every game. The game at the moment is becoming a joke.



This top eight is just rewarding mediocrity, we could end up with the fact that we have beaten Saints four times in the Super League for nothing, if they beat us once to get to a Final.



I personally would hate Wigan to not try and win every game, but the reality of the competition is that it would potentially give us an advantage not to.



Surely a system that enables this to happen can't be right?

simple solution would be to base the Sky money that clubs get on final league placings and make it worthwhile finishing top...... Some say it wouldn't be fair and that the top clubs would then be financially better off, tough.......everyone should strive to improve and not bring the standard of the league down to just to accomodate the weaker teams........
