In the past Wigan have spent lots on compensation because of sacking managers well before there contract was up! this time because IL said the club is LOSING money they are waiting until nov so they dont have to pay compensation.

And the problem with this is?







What's the point of that! They have had to pay his wages instead. The club is losing money by not making finals.



If Noble would have gone half way through this season we may have done a darn sight better v Wire in the semi final. We may not of course but as I said in another thread sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate.



Sticking with a coach you don't want because its cheap is no way to bring success to a club. As I have said elsewhere IL is supposed to be a wealthy man and him sticking some cash in to sort out short term problems does not stop him moving the club towards being profitable long term. It might even help it if as a result we are more successful.

. And paying compensation and the additional salary of a new coach (assuming you can even get a decent one exactly when you want, it's not like they're queueing up 10 deep at the job centre is it).



It's really easy for us all to sit back and judge, second guess, critcisise, apply hindsight, but at the end of the day what will be will be. We'll just have to all wait and see how things progress.



He's already spent millions, i'll give him time to see things through.
