| I cannot believe some of the blinkered opinions on here. Bridge's attack was one of the most disgusting acts I've seen on a RL field, and that includes Boyd on Brohman, Newton on Long, Morley on McCormack and the Cassidy response.
Saying he didn't hit the head isn't the point. The point is that he dropped, from a standing position, attacked with what can only be construed as clear intent. That to me is a clear and lengthy ban. Especially on the back of the shenanigans against Huddersfield.

I totally agree with every word, the only problem is that Red Hall didn't even cite him last week so it will be this week. Intent? Definately, should have walked imo it doesn't matter if he missed his head or not the intent was there and if the RFL do not do something about it and make an example out of Bridge some one will be severely hurt/injured before the end of the season.
Any team playing wolves this season should just keep running at Bridge guarunteed penalty every set of six.

totally over the top to say its one of the most disgusting acts on a rugby field , your hatred towards warrington clearly stands out in your post

| Quote p1e e8ter="p1e e8ter"Firstly, Bridge should have seen red. It was a simple case of striking another player with malicious intent. He still connected with Jeffries. He should have seen a card against Hudds for his petty brawl with Brown. Thats now twice that Bridge has been let off without a card...
Secondly, I thought it was very stupid of Riley. He was clearly looking at the Bulls player on the replay which to me says he knew what he was doing in obstructing the defender by slowing down.'"

| Exactly the explanation I offered 5 mins after game yesterday. It was obvious, Stevo and Eddie have turned your brains to mush . Try watching without sound.

| As a Wire fan I think Bridge did not attempt to hit Jeffries with an elbow to the head - not in a million years.
But I do think Jeffries was tackled and there was no need to go in with the forearm to the chest.
It was not pretty - and it was totally unnecessary.
But the last couple of weeks it seems like Bridge has been wanting to take his anger out on players on the pitch and I was calling for TS to bring him off before he got sent of....
Because I belive the tackle was already completed and consider the follow up unnecessary I think he should get a 1 match ban - for the sake of rugby league. Too often the refs duck out of making decisions on the pitch. There do need to be more red and yellow cards in my opinion - probably not popular with may but just my view.

What's he angry for? He's starting for a great team and his team are last year's league leaders and are top of the league this season with no defeats? Silly man
