Lockers
See how we are at half time then bring Lockers on at 6 for Tommy. Think 40 mins from SoL would do him good ready for next week.

| Wane's played pretty save with that 19, better to be safe then sorry I suppose. I'm glad he's rested who he has although I would have liked to have seen Hock and Carmont also rested. I'm surprised Gelling hasn't kept his spot though. Glad to see were not rushing Pat or Lockers back.

| i suppose he wants to see a fully fledged winger on Carmonts left.......if we shift the ball quickly I can see that winger running in 5 tries at least

Agreed. Seems like a good balance between resting some guys with knocks and not taking things for granted. Hope King gets a run out on the wing, and Russell at fullback with Sam at stand off.
I'd go:
1. Russell
2. Charnley
3. Goulding
4. Carmont
5. King
6. S. Tomkins
7. Leuluai
8. Prescott

He may have left Gelling out just in case Pat doesn't make it next week.

I thought the very same. But would not be better to give Gelling another run out this week to blow away the cobwebs and gain some more match fitness, ahead of a possible game at Ull.
Unless King is being readied to replace Pat at Ull.

I think it will be something like this, though Mellor at 6 instead of Sam, I reckon he'll get this week off. Also Spencer in for either Preccy or Lauaki and start Hughes instead of Hock and Logan instead of McIlorum. Disappointed Lockers isn't in, I think half an hour would have done him good before Hull next week. Also thought Gelling would have got Carmont's centre spot but as someone mentioned above Wane probably wants to give King a run out with an experienced centre inside him.

Waney might be taking opportunity to try both King and Gelling out for one game each. Whoever looks better gets the job against Hull should Pat not make it. King will have to go some to top Gelling's showing against Wakey though
