Honestly, the DW Stadium, and The Springfield Park Stand?



FFS.

Like 80% of latics fans ever went to Springfield Park

Sit in the Billy Boston Stand, it'll cleanse ya!

Its not actually the Springfield park stand.....its the Springfield Stand which for me just happens to be named after a district in wigan.....it doesnt offend me the same as the Ince Stand wouldnt offend me









As I said before...for us wiganers we just have the Boston Stand and the Graeme West Stand.....let the l@tics call em what they want we dont care!!



Think its great the east stand is named as the Boston Stand.....next season we should all get in there and aim to get the season tickets in that stand up to the 7k mark so its always full like the south stand at leeds.....would make for a great atmosphere and so much better when our games are on TV (as can be seen on the l@tics TV games...they obviously encourage them to all go in there for that reason when you see an average l@tics game with only approx 2 k in the south and 2-3 k in the west just so the stand facing the TV looks reasonably full ) makes perfect sense for me

I also have no doubt that Whelan will make the name signs for the stands on MS Word and use a piece of A4 paper, laminated, blu-tacked to the wall.

So one stand is named after a rugby league legend and the other is named after a small boozer with the best pool table in Wigan. Excellent!

To most of today's Latics fans, Springfield means that pub they all gather behind late on Friday nights to try out their new Burberry baseball caps.

PMSL PMSL PMSL they couldn't even find a legend to hold their sign its a fans representitive please somebody help me i cant move for laughter.

Just wait until Whelan sells your insignificant club and the new owners relocate you to another town!

I know some people wanted to call it the De Zeewuw or whatever his name is stand. Seriously.

I could actually see that happenin tbh like they did with wimbledon to move them to somewhere where theyd get support...... You could see some arab coming in to get them on the cheap and deciding to move them to an area currently without a team but with potential for support that l@tcis dont have......would be funny as f00k if it happened
