John Winder is already assistant coach at Wigan, so in reality we have one for the rest of the season.

Isn't Winder head of youth? That's what his LinkedIn says anyway.

I think Matty Peet may have stepped in to that role now.

The obvious reason why no assistant has been appointed is that SW won't be here next year unless by some miracle we win the GF therefore, there is no way IL will let SW appoint someone and then have to pay him off if a new guy comes in with his own assistant.

I'm starting to wonder what we actually practice in training - do we have any set pieces in the locker? We just seem to do the same old move every game i.e. try to get an overlap and pass it out the back to the fullback to set something up on the wing.

And most of those are probably Gelling heart in your mouth offloads..

He's 7th in the league for offloads. Joel is 3rd. Cuthbertson at Leeds has more than twice as many as anyone else, which is completely insane.
