Great week spent in Calella and just got home today alongside a good win - and its a belting week all round.

Yep yet again going to be the first fixture i look for each year. Great weekend stayed in Canet Friday to Tuesday but in Perpignan for the day on Sunday. Got off to a slow start on the Sunday morn but when you have a good idea where to go(jokes aside, you know who you are), your ok. Found a bar in Square and did well on the beer.



The after match party was brill, bbq, free champagne(unless your thrown out) and a good drink. Found out some interesting opinions on some of the players n'all.

We stayed in Calella and got transfers included in package deal with hotel. Also got airport transfers.

Excellent time in calella fantastic town, fantastic pubs, fantastic prices and went with good people, really good laugh and will be returning there again next year this trip will never die

Outstanding effort from Pete to follow the players to the food area, sit on their table and eat Stuart Fieldens dinner.



Then, on the flight home Fielden was served last for food (Again!)with the stewardess explaining they'd sold out of food. Winner.

argeles is brill plenty to do,lovely place. you can get in to perps on train.

Done Perps enough, found bars a lot cheaper in Callela, a great trip, but some dodgy Kareoke Saturday night Gerry, your South Stand compere job in big danger.



Think you will find the fixture moved next season to the place it was nearly moved to this season.

We stayed in canet and in the morning got the bus for around 1 euro. After the match as it was quite late we ordered a taxi and got quoted 35, in the end it ended up costing us 30 euros which was quite reasonable as there were four of us. that dropped us of at the main square in canet and took less than 10 minutes.

Two hours from Calella to Perps for the game. We went Thursday and came back on Monday. We will probably do the same next year but will probably go Wednesday to Wednesday depending on the time of year.



Calella is certainly much cheaper than Perpignan. A pint and glass of wine, even in the hotel was less than £5.
