I think there's no doubt the World Cup has been an overwhelming success and the RFL for once deserve some praise.



Being British and wanting to moan about things I do have one small gripe which is related to this. Left it late to purchase World Cup Final tickets. So I've been going on the website and there is quite clearly greyed out blocks where tickets aren't on sale yet. Why not just put them on sale? I phoned up and was told I could only get single seats separated all over a block (if we were lucky) so left it.



Luckily I've got a bit of nouse about me so knew ultimately these greyed out areas would start being for sale so I've logged on tonight and lo and behold I could now get a group of tickets together for a decent price. (Last night's offering was £99 seats individually)!



My point is how many other people have phoned up this week wanting to get some tickets together and decided to leave it and are completely oblivious to these areas that are only now coming on sale? I reckon without this tactic they could have sold it out by now.

That's why I can't understand why they kept tickets back for the game at Hudds for that "2 for 1" offer. As soon as they sold out the other seats they should have got rid of that offer and sold the rest as normal.

The west stand at the DW could be a lot of seats held back for the "england" scrum package.....ie you get a 1/4 final ticket at the ground england play at....at the moment seats are being held back and not for sale at Wigan and Wire..

Just as a quick note, i sorted my tickets through the RLWC website today and sorted much better tickets using the "nearest seat" function than the "best available" function. 4 tickets booked in the north stand, should be a great match!

I'm still waiting for fanzone tickets even though they were purchased weeks ago, as anyone received fanzone tickets?

Safest is one of the official car parks but you'll be on them a long time after the match unless you do the "Wigan Walk"

Plenty of street parking near by but put it this way, they built the new police station opposite the ground.

Don't park on the retail park or it could turn into an expensive evening, clampers !!!
