We really should be trying for Clark early considering the mess we’re in props wise, we ideally could do with another prop as well, don’t know who’s available the current moment but I’m sure they’ll be a decent player in the NRL on the outer

At the start of the season Lam said he thought we were a prop short.
Tonight he didn't have Flower, Hamlin and Tautai yet still decided to rest Joe Bullock.
Having said that Navarette had his best game of the season IMO.

And I think he’s probably fair enough. After a strong start for us he’s looked jaded recently IMO and isn’t having as much impact with the ball. It’s understandable and the rest should do him some good and hopefully help him re-focus. |

I don’t think his issues are when we’re in possession. It’s the fact he’s lazy in defence and seems to be saving himself to do the big impressive runs. Warrington in particular targeted the hole behind the play the ball every time bullock was marker. Clarke had a field day! |

A great first season at this level and I dare say he's played a lot more matches than the coaching staff had planned for. Giving him a rest won't do him any harm. |

Totally agree but when he was making plenty of strong carries that defence could be forgiven a little but now the impact isn’t as high with the ball it makes it tougher to look past.
He’s been a good signing overall and hopefully he can improve what he needs to so he can kick on. |
