All red kit to me with the large wigan square badge like we used to play in the 50s/60s ? With White shorts
That would be the only thing I would be happy playing in as a one off kit for the WCC. That wouldnt clash with the red v, but then again I dont think the red v would clash with cherry and white hoops, so dont need to change IMO.

We didnt really clash with Saints this season but one of us always had to play in our away shirt. I really cant see anything other than Wigan being made to play in an alternative kit
|

Because people are stupid. Rovers had a dark blue away kit one year - and obviously they have their famous blue and white halves at home. So they had to carry a third kit in case they came across a team that wore blue. It was madness. |

I wouldnt be outraged if we went with a different look next season. We'd go back to hoops the season after anyway. Look at Leeds, the last few seasons they seem to alternate between their traditional design one year and something a bit different the next. |

Is that straight up mate? I wouldn't mind for a season. Like the 1989 USA Milwauke strip I hope. Also, didn't Wigan play in such a strip at one our 60's Cup finals against Saints at Wembley? So there would be a bit of tradition behind the design. I reckon a kit like that would be very popular in terms of sales. |
