Who cares about attendances? Those who care about RL - bigger crowds mean more interest in the game and more money for the sport.
It's simple really. A bit like a lot of Wire fans.

| Quote Conroy="Conroy"Your interpretation is correct which is why it annoys me when ppl scream and shout that players are in front of the ref so offside.'"
Mate, you keep saying this but read the rule above again. If the ref has retired the 10 then he is indicating the point where the players should be. The only exception is when the ref stays at the play the ball in which case the linesman is generally used as the 10 metre marker. The way you're interpreting this would be a free for all with players themselves being the sole arbiters of whether they are back 10 or not!

| I would concede that Wigan have bigger crowds and Wigan have louder support and that Wigan are the best team to ever play rugby (although they are all patently not true)
All that matters, and every single person here knows it, is that 22-20 to Warrington.
You threw away a win and it is the sweetest taste in the world!

| Briers was the difference, as he usually is when Wire beat us.
However, unless he was play acting (which again, wouldn't put it past him ) there is no way he should have been allowed to stay on the pitch. The bloke hardly could stand up at one point, decision should have been taken out of his hands by the trainer.

I don't think anybody was cheering the injury itself. I assume people were cheering because he was about to leave the field. There is a difference.

Last year at Cardiff Briers was Knocked out cold against Huddersfield, plenty of Wigan fans dancing about and cheering that day yet we was nt playing each other!!!!
I will go with the first one your club as a few numpties who like to make a joke about a injured or prone player, but on the other hand every team in super league as a few numpties like that also..

| There was nothing wrong with him apart from a small cut.
He could sense the opportunity to come across as a hero in a tight game, that's all.

| I agree.
To be honest, I wanted him out 4 or 5 years ago at the same time as the Cullen protest.

I bet you are glad he didn't leave.
I don't think anybody in super league reads the game better than he does. He lacks pace and yet still found breaks in our line.
I can only imagine how good he could have been under Tony Smith earlier in his career when he had more pace.
