The Leeds game could be very interesting if neither side want to win

Would certainly be an advert to Sky of how s*it the format is

Wiggy and Baldy would convince everybody that the entire Leeds squad will be playing carrying death defying injuries and Wigan are only proving what devious barstewards they are, as they have been advocating for years.

We would probably be found guilty of breaking the spirit of some rule as well

The first year U19's (last years u16's) are a very talented side, probably the best I have seen as a large group. I think they'll still be strong enough to win on Sunday.

It's the outside backs that are depleted and we've got plenty of cover in that department. We've still got Fell, Scrivens, Thompson, Taylor, Gildart, Grimes, Baggaley, Doran and Shorrocks who should be more than capable while there's no one missing from the forwards. The under 19's should be fine.

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of the 19's play on Friday, anyone who's been up to Orrell this year will know how special they are when on song.



It's a great reward for them to be given a shot on Friday, whilst resting our strongest team for the play-offs.



I'm happy no matter what the result is on Friday, fair play to Wane.

To be honest I'm more looking forward to this game than I would be if it was a full strength Wigan squad.
