A run out against Samoa would have been a better prep for the Kiwis, but having just bought a last minute ticket for them against Fiji @ Wire, that's the [ireal [/igame of the weekend. Should be a bruiser

Samoa have had two players suspended for their "on report offences" last night. There are also reports in todays League Express of trouble with some of the Samoan team and French fans last week after a "late night" drinking session.

The ref should have given that first spear 10 minutes (at least) then maybe discipline from both sides would have been better. He lost control by taking the coward's way out & putting them on report.

I don't think it'll make much difference though, both Samoa & Fiji won't want to go home this weekend, should still be a good game. Both still fairly equal I think.

Fiji v Samoa has appeared in the BBC 2 listings for next Sunday, be interesting to see the figures it generates up against the Scottish rah-rah's on BBC 1.
