First off - is there actually a cup rule that says they can only have 1 overseas player or is this just the reality because the league rules they are subject to mean that they only have one overseas player so are effectively unable to field more than one for a cup match? If it's just the latter, then what they are saying is they want to impose their rules on SL clubs.



Secondly - this has to be the most ludicrous example of the dumbing down, level playing field nonsense that afflicts RL. I expect a Brett Kenny post is imminent.

There are no rules saying Wigan have to play 1 overseas player in the challenge cup, unless that comes into fruition we will play whoever the hell we want
