Turn the boiler on and get a flat head screwdriver unscrew the pump nut but put a towel over the flap on the boiler unscrew the nut and you will see the pump spinning if it's not turn it with your flat head once it's turning screw it back up and wipe down

You do know it's illegal to touch a gas boiler unless you're qualified to a minimum nvq level 3 ?

the pump is spinning seems to be ok

one thing you can do yourself is check the condenser pipe outside the house isn't frozen, v. common problem this time of year. The boiler trickles water out of these things and if they're not lagged they can freeze and stop the whole thing working, some warm water poured over it should do the trick.

My condenser pipe froze last week even though its lagged so would be worth checking. Also my next door neighbours froze as well

105e is not a condensing appliance

have you got it sorted yet?,if not and you think there is still a circlation issue(and you know that the pump is definitley spinning the 105 as a wire gauze fitted inside the isolation valves that are prone to blocking,had it a few times especially if the boiler is fitted to an older system,from what you described your boiler isn't a condensing boiler so you don't need to worry about the condensate pipe freezing

NVQ level 3? so if someone has an nvq level 3 in lets say flower arranging...........they're ok to maul with it are they?
