how can the club be to blame? once the coach leaves the stadium it isn't hull fcs' responsibility, unless you want them to give you an escort out of the city!

Its a shame that a few mindless idiots get more publicity than what for Wigan was a great result.

Went in the car, parked on the main car park, no problems before or after, £23 a bit steep but didn't get a programme or food and drink took our own, compared to Leeds , Wakefield, is it £20 , facilities far better.

With previous problems with coaches do the local police have a part to play to give safe travel back to the A63 for supporters coaches ?

Not Hull FC's fault in my view. It's clearly chav yobs who are intent on causing trouble and almost certainly won't have been to the game. The Wigan club needs to talk to Hull management before this game and ask for police protection for our coaches until they have passed the island and the Humber Bridge.

What doesn`t really help our town is the lack of alternative routes, as everything is basically bottled into one way in or out... so as a result...yobs can find and get to do these idiotic acts and escape easily.... because they are not hard to find....



The locals know of other alternative routes to and from our stadiums, however Sat Nav`s and drivers from across the country do not....



I`m not for one minute excusing the behaviour of these yobs.... but as its become apparent that the police seem unwilling to do much to protect coaches leaving our town, then perhaps adopting other routes too and from would be an alternative...

Would just like to point out that after the incident last year my dad spoke extensively with the Hull club about Police escorts away from the ground to the motorway and was told that this would be provided for the next visit (i.e. the one last sunday). When we got to the ground on sunday we both spoke with a steward who directed us to the coach park area and he said he thought there would be Police presence infront of the coaches but had not been told anything by the club.

There was no Police despite being told there would be by the club, just two stewards stood infront of cars at the exit of the stadium.

Firstly I'm sorry you had to experience this again. Have you spoken to the club about why there was no police escort to the A63? I generally follow coaches out on my way home from games and there usually is an escort along Rawlings Way to the A63 so I can't understand why there wasn't on Sunday, given that the same thing happened in the same place last year.

Maybe one mini bus was harder to locate.



All jokes apart this is a sad episode for Hull, East or West.A minority of pond life has got the publicity they probably wanted.I am willing to bet here and now,if you asked any of these cretins what are the rules of rugby they couldn`t tell you.They are just a bunch of mindless idiots who just look for trouble.The mentality of these people is hard to figure out.
