At this stage of the season, if we did that, we would be lucky to have a 5 man team, this applies to all clubs by the way.

It might be a pountless game against a low level team but it's a big game in terms of confidence and form. We were awful v Bradford, better v Wakey and worse than ever v Leeds. Our form prior to Exiles was exhillarating but those 2 stupid games really took the wind out of out sails.



We need this game to get back that forrm and build momentum for the Hull, Wire and Saints games ahead of the play offs.

Charnley didn't look fit v Leeds and if he's no better then I'd replace him with Jack Murphy.

Smith to go at 7 with Finch 6 and Lockers 13 will make a huge difference and the previous form will come back quite quickly.

Hansen looked done in last Saturday and Hughes must be in with a shout of starting.

As has been said it's the big games that are important. We need to get players somewhere near to fully fit before they play.

Big games matter but we need to get our form back in the next three v London, Cas & Hull before we go to Wire. That is a big game!

I was very surprised by the seeming lack of energy of some of the Wigan forwards against Leeds, particularly Lima, MM and Hansen, and to a less extent Tuson and Mossop. Hansen had made his comeback the previous week so he should not have been "done in" as FT writes. The others had all had "rests" of some sort the previous month, so were they simply not back to full fitness or had they been flogged too hard in training? A week or couple of weeks out was supposed to be keeping them fresh...

You lot couldn't of asked for an easier game on the back of your semi final defeat!
