What he means is that the club could hold "X" amount of tickets back for a reason (In the past we've had them put away for the Troops, sponsors etc) and if they then don't get taken up they could be put out for General Sale. The 10% for Unreserved Seating is also taken away from that figure as well.

As for Friday, unless one side batters the other (which is highly unlikely) and gains a psychological advantage, then the result will be pretty insignificant in the long run.



To be fair, with the way the play-offs are now set up, finishing 1st or 2nd makes little difference in the quest to win the big prize at Old Trafford and having seen how the season is unfolding, it wouldn't be a massive shock to see Wire and Wigan occupying the top 2 places, whatever Friday's outcome.



P.S.....Just dropping to the standards of the troll, I'd just like to point out that while Wigan have an highly impressive history in comparison with Wire, it always intrigues me that no Wiganers like to bring up the glory years of the late 70's and early 80's, when you sunk to levels that even Wire have never reached, and even managed to be the first scalp of a certain Fulham RLFC in the old Division 2??....

To be fair, i think we (Wire) can take something from Wigan and the way they have become a ruthless team unit over the last 2 seasons with what is a pretty good, but not great squad. It shows what a difference a great coach can make as the squad Maguire has changed little from the one Noble had.



Last season we were not consistent enough on the run-in and fell away at the end of the season but this year we have shown better mental toughness and I think we are in a far better postion than this time last year as a club.

It doesn't take into account the unreserved seating at the two ends and it also doesn't add on the extra seats in the west stand which are not shown. Finally the game is in 3d and the seats taken up by the cameras are shown as sold.

It's a massive game for both teams. Will it decide superleague? No. But it's a game that both teams will be going all out for.

To fans of both sides, please don't let this thread descend into the usual prick measuring contest. It could and should be the game of the season so far and a great advert for our game.
