Spot on, and that's the only reason I gave up on a Season Ticket (many) years back.

Since then, like EW said, I just got out of the habit of going due to arriving home from work too late for evening games, (bloody Thelwall

) in order to then get into town by public transport. (RL game = a scoop or two before the game, and several more after it

)

But the reaction to them trying to generate a bit of coverage is ridiculous. One cryptic tweet followed by one that was blatantly obvious is was "The Big One 5", and some of our fans have blown up to riduculous proportions because it wasn't that we're signing half the Queensland team. The club got it wrong IMO, but the massive over-reaction by some is cringeworthy to say the least, and has only happened because of people's unrealistic expectations.

I actually agree with you, the club has got it wrong on this occasion however as someone said "there's no such thing as bad publicity"

Its definitely got everyone talking whether it be for the right or wrong reasons.

So the prize for this 'big' game - two league points?

If only the players had taken Sunday's game against Bradford seriously!

I understand that the club want to generate publicity and try to get more fans through the gates, but they have had offers now for almost half of the home games at least. As a season ticket holder, this infuriates me as it ends up costing me more for the season ticket as it would if I just bought tickets on a game to game basis. The club are aware that this is annoying season ticket holders but they just don't care. What is the point in a season ticket??

The tickets aren't cheaper for the big one, it has no impact on season ticket holders whatsoever. This season the only offer that didn't benefit season ticket holders was the Cas double ticket for the league and cup games, you'll still be very much in pocket compared to if you'd have bought tickets game-by-game.

What offers have there been this season?



It's the first time I've not had a season ticket in years and I can't remember many if any (outside the usual scrum offers and so on). Thinking on there was an offer to get tickets to both the Cas games but aside from that I'm struggling.



There have been a good few offers on in previous seasons and maybe they decided this year they need to pull back on that. The fact that the Big One isn't even discounted is possibly a sign of this.

Except it doesn't
