It looked to me like Lima tackled the KR player round the legs similar to the clarkson tackle, the KR players took exception and it kicked off.



Wasn't as clear as the Leeds one but once again he has put himself in a position that he didn't need to being the last tackle of the game.

Have i missed something? Is tackling around the legs banned now? God sake.

Tackle was complete, 2 men holding Webster up in the tackle, hooter had sounded and Lima came in on the back of the legs/knees (similar to the Clarkson tackle).

I haven't been to KR tonight so have not seen the incedent. So can't comment on this particular one, but from reading on here it sounds like tackling the standing leg. I was discussing the 3rd man in the tackle with someone at work yesterday, it needs to stop and the way to stop it is not bans but the referees calling held when a player isn't actually going anywhere instead of waiting for someone else to go in low and then penalising them. Also what happened to the days when one tackler would go in round the boddy and another tackler would go in around the legs eliminating the need for a third tackler?

what happened? Michael Maguire came over and out three in the tackle to slow down the ptb. Get shut I say.

If he gets suspended again, he should be heavily fined by the club if he hasn't been already.



Whether the rules / interpetations are fair or not, they are what they are and he's had more than enough time and warning to improve his technique.
