| Yes, it was amazing and I thank my lucky stars that I got to watch Doc pitch for 4 years. It still sucks that the rest of the baseballing world are just waking up to what an amazing pitcher he is. He's been this good for years but being in Toronto tends to put a player (even one as good as Doc) off the radar of the US sports networks.
I think I actually enjoyed Lincecum's CG shoutout even more than Doc's no hitter. He's just so much fun to watch. 14ks and 12 of them swinging.
I think I may have to switch my post season support from the Reds to the Giants. I mean, how on earth can I truely root for a team called the Reds? It just doesn't sit right.

| What is it with the Twins when they play the Yankees, they look more like the Pirates when they play them.Hoping for a Rangers/Giants final but it looks like it will be a NY/Philly final again

Good because you've cursed us
Watched Friday's game and it was a nightmare. Threw the game away after getting at Oswalt. I was gutted when Bruce missed a relative sitter to tidy things up when we were in the lead. Can't see us winning tonight but I'll be tuning in, in hope.

| Yep, looks like I cursed the Reds - sorry Mike!
Struggling to contain my excitement over the first NLCS game and a Halladay - Lincecum showdown. I'm definitely on Team Timmy for this one.

| They should be able to arrange their rotation now so Cliff Lee pitches the opening game.

| Great match up. One team that's never won a World Series and another which hasn't won in over fifty years. Game on.

| This season is the most interested I've been in post season baseball. The Giants-Phillies series was just fantastic entertainment, plus I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Rangers show the Yankees up. I'll be cheering for San Fran mostly because I love Lincecum, plus Brian Wilson's beard is just immense and Madison Bumgarner has one of the best names in baseball. But really I don't mind who wins, I just want it to go to 7.

| Congrats to the Giants on what turned out to be an easier vicroty then I expected.
The little kid that dressed as Ron Washington for Halloween was fecking brilliant.
So, is it too early to talk about off season trades & pick ups?
Didn't think so
The Jays did not pick up the 1 year option for Kevin Gregg, fuelling rumours of Papelbum to TO. He and our new manager are pretty close apparently. I hope it's not true. A very good closer he might be, but what a douche! We're pretty much nailed onto get him now I've said that.

| Derek Jeter wants 6yr/$150m to stay with the Yankees, just laughable.

No chance. The 3 year/$45 million is more than enough. If he goes we should try and trade for Hanley Ramirez.
