| Quote Chris71="Chris71"Well the Hawks are consistent at the moment as they are consistently up and down in performances so far this season, but glad they bounced back from the shocking performance with a 7-1 drubbing of the Canucks.
Have to say that although we have been patchy to say the least this season I do think that once they get it sorted they will be back in the hunt for another good cup run. Quenneville just needs to find the missing piece to the puzzle as to why they are so hot and cold, as the additions of Bickell, Stalberg, Skille and Pisani are now finding their feet in the team.
On a sad note Pat Burns has sadly passed away on Friday after beating colon and liver cancer previously to finally lose his fight with lung cancer, RIP one of the great guys of the NHL and one hell of a fighter against an evil and cruel disease.'"
We just need Luongo in the net against us more often
Burns should have been elected into the HOF this year while he was still alive.500 wins as coach, winning a stanley cup with the Devils and getting coach of the year with 3 teams should have been enough to get him in.Hopefully it will be put right next year and he will go in.

| Chicago's win, lose, win, lose season continues.Still hanging on to a playoff place but when everybody catches up in games played well be near to the bottom of the conference if we don't string a winning run together.

| Nice to see the Caps brushing off some awful form to take their last 3 games.
2 close ones against Carolina though, especially this last one.

| Hawks beat the Blues in a rough tough encounter at the United 7-5.
Hossa missing again is a blow but Morin stood in well and hopefully the Hawks will be able to keep the run going now.

| The Thrashers are in great form at the moment, 6 from 6 and looking very dangerous.

| The Blackhawks have now lost Kane for a few weeks to add to the Hossa injury, looks like we'll get to see some of the young players and see how they're progressing.

Also missing Pisani who has been chipping in with the points.
Hawks beat the Stars 5-3 although yet again nearly blowing a 3 goal lead. Bickell & Morin chipping in with goals along with Toews, Brouwer and Sharp with the empty net goal to seal it at the death.

| I seem to have jinxed Washington by tipping them for the Stanley cup final.six losses in a row now and Ovechkin is struggling to get going this season.

It's hard enough seeing the puck in a normal arena so how hard must it have been to watch from the back rows then again most people will have just gone to be part of the event than to watch the game.
