Chicago showed how good they can be last night beating the Red Wings 4-1 last night.They are hanging on to a playoff spot at the moment and it looks like it could go down to the wire to see if they make it in this season.

Hawks make it another 3 wins since beating the Wings, downing LA, Predators and Columbus. Hossa back against Columbus and getting back in the action and looking good with 2 assists. Kane still out injured

They're putting a winning run together at home for the 1st time this season,hopefully they can keep it going when they next go on the road.

Second time we reached a 3 game winning streak after promising to show more of the same form only to blow cold again after a season high streak of 4, fingers crossed the roll has finally arrived. Looked in total control against the both the Islanders and Av's and looked like the Hawks of last season.

It's the same as last season.Huet started as the #1 n/m then Niemi took over and this season Turco was #1 and now Crawford seem to have taken over.Lets hope the end result is the same.

Big weekend against divisional rivals Nashville in a home and home series Hawks on a 3 game run and Nashville just had a 6 game run before losing to the Panthers. Both go into the game 6 & 4 from the last 10 games.

The Hawks just can't help shooting themselves in the foot this season, blowing another 2 goal lead in the 3rd perioed against the Preds in Nashville saturday to lose in the shootout. Things didnt get much better at the start of the 1st period in the return fixture on Sunday, going in 2-1 down. Hawks took the game with a come from behind win 6-3 after words were reported to have been said by the players inbetween 1st & 2nd periods.



Roll on Detroit, just hope the Hawks keep their focus and play the game they can.
