Interesting that the great Neil Fox when interviewed by Rugby League World stated that before his injury Keith Senior was still the best centre in the English game.

He went on to say he cannot understand why Trinity have made no move to sign him.

This does seem at odds with the opinions of many on this site.

Can't agree with the great man on this one. Senior is struggling big time to recover from his injury. Infections after knee reconstructions at his age aren't good. His time has gone, we should look elsewhere.

I agree with him with regards to before his injury, but i would be cautious now for the reasons stated above.

Think you have to read between the lines on this one.



If you are talking Senior the speed merchant athlete then no he isn't.



If you are talking skill, determination and grey matter then he probably is. Only Gleeson can match him but as we know his problems are way beyond what we need.



If we could get a fit Senior for a year with a point to prove then bingo - however that rarely happens in the real world. So best left alone I suppose.

Before seniors injury he was the best british centre still. I would still take Senior but on no more than 60 grand as its a risk with a bad knee injury.

Personally thought Gleeson was better.

Another 1 I agree with u. Gleeson offered more and had more to his game than senior that said I think either 1 of them would be a big gamble for us. Whether either would be worth it though is another question.
