I've put up with so much crap from folk this week - on social media and elsewhere - in fact I've had stern words with 2 friends over their negative stance, but I'm now at a point that I am only focussed on one thing this week - getting this team, you know, the one that actually wears the same colours that I do, over the line on Saturday.



Those that either don't want to play or have stuffed up their time with us can chuff off - to those that go out there on Saturday and those that coach them and support them - I wish you all the very best in this game. Go - give it your all and leave nothing in the tank, if you do that, we will all be smiling. If we come up short, let it not be said it wasn't for the lack of trying and, heaven forbid, it shouldn't be because the fans were too busy moaning about who was playing or who wasn't playing that they forgot who the real opposition are on the day!



If we lose, we lose, but I'm not expecting that as I think we have the ability to do what we have to do - so go out there lads and win this bloody game of rugby and enjoy every minute of it!

I'll have some of what you're on Phil. Trying to be positive but Sunday practically finished me off. I know it's another day and all that but we don't seem to have the fighting spirit of 06. All we want to see is 80 minutes of effort

Back in 2006 I never had any doubt that we would win the game, We had players who had grit and determination who were prepared to 'die for the cause' , give or take one or two I'm not sure about the current team. It won't stop me being there on Saturday shouting and cheering for MY team and I'll still be there even if we go down to the Cahmpionship. But I just have this nagging doubt.

I hope to God I'm wrong and will profusely apologise if I'm wrong.

Fine words but defeat cannot be contemplated unfortunately I am just not sure the squad is good enough or creative enough. We had Solomona last time who could destroy a team on his own currently we do not a player or players anywhere near his ability and that I fear will be our downfall.

We can pound and pound at the line like we did at Sheffield but need guile to get through and that we do not have. Yes you can give 100% but that alone does not win a game.

I'm not scared because I don't care what the result is. Win and we see SL rugby again, lose and we get competitive games back.
