On Monday my boy will be undergoing major heart surgery from which there is a real possiblity that he may not survive. Some of you on here may know me, most probably will not, but i would ask all of you to please just spare a moment and send him a good wish, if you are religious say a prayer for him, if not just wish him well. He is undergoing the surgery at LGI which is currently uner threat in the safe & sustainable review, to move this unit to newcastle would be madness in my eyes, but thats another story. A win tomorrow would be a lift for me, as you can imagine spirits are struggling at the moment.

Hope the surgery goes well for Leon, as a parent myself it must be agonising to have to watch your child go through this. Thoughts and prayers are with you as a family.
I have signed the on-line petition to keep heart surgery in Leeds, hope everyone else has.
