So you've come on our forum to say it won't be your cup final like it or not if we go down we will be the biggest team in that division and your biggest match will be against us. That's why there's more fev fans on here than on your own forum you're desperate for us to go down just to make your life abit more exciting again. I've only been watching WTRLFC since 83 so I missed our glory years but we always took alot your I remember 1 boxing day late 80s steve Ella scored and it was mental Trin everywhere that win turned our season around. Never remember fev bringing many to belle Vue but were always good matches. Anyway stop being obsessed and bitter with us you say we are a nothing club but you are always on here. It your board you need to be bitter with for not providing you with a team capable of qualifying for SL for the last 16 years

I bet your a new super league fan arnt you, because there are a good few teams bigger than Wakey in that division, im not desperate for Wakey to go down its Cas i hate son, your a nothing club to me, boring old ground, fans with 1 song, unfashionable and win nawt, nothing to me, the reason were on here is because your the team that will be coming down, how much do you want to wager in 3 years time the little village that is Featherstone averages more fans than the big city that is Wakefield

You are correct that if/when you come down , you will become a prize scalp , that is quite obvious , and while I feel for you , I am also happy that a Championship club will get a chance in SL , because if the door was shut , then we really might as well pack in



The future will be difficult , but also probably a bit more interesting than your last 3 seasons , you will be competing to win trophies rather than avoid having your season over with by June

The reason im bitter is because even if we did have a team to qualify for super league, those buffoons at the RFL WOULDNT LET US GO UP. now do you get it, you will eventually. I must of missed the Trin everywhere bit, but i noticed the dozen or so you had a KR

What you averaging at the mo 1200 1300 and your top of the league our crowds have never been that low but if we are down there in 3 years time with no new ground and no development of the club you could be right our crowds could end up as low as yours

KR is that Knowsley Road of HKR I think there will have been more than 12 fans their. Stop been bitter and obsessed and concentrate on your own club

Around 1700 I'd guess, frustrating because the fan-base is at least 3 times larger than this but they choose to stay away... apathy rules in the Championship.

There's a number of reasons fev fans (and others) are using this forum at the mo.

1. Our team is settled and top so little happening other than normal routine stuff so our forum (Totalrl.com, not this) is compartively quiet.

2. Wakey are the SL club coming down. SL clubs and their fans have, in the main, assumed and "I'm alright jack" attitude to their lowly championship fans/clubs and said fans are having no qualms at pointing that out.

3. Wakey coming down will give us champ clubs an opportunity to stick it to the ex SL club. I accept that I really am looking forrad to that opportunity, but I wouldn't be any less enthusiastic if it was Salford or Crusaders.

4. Champ clubs fans WILL read the optimisin and assumptions from a few wkaey contributors to this forum suggesting that Wakey will go backi into SL and will bellylaugh at that, and will type with speed to point out the experiential flaws in that scenario.

I could go on. But all in all there is plenty of interest in wakey at the mo, not just from Fev, but from all champclubs, but as you're our near neighbours you have to acknowldge some interest!!
