It was a pointless argument because George Rose is a freak in that he carries his weight so well on the field. There isn't another player like George Rose. All other players of that size are pretty much Hickey-esque or a ten minute a time luxury like Solomana. Or not particularly good like Higgins or Paleaaesina.

How do you work that one out then, as you were one of quite a number of fans that could not get rid of him fast enough

Given that we did all the hard work and saw no benefit, I hope you're right.

He's not our first waste of money and won't be the last , always risky bringing players in that we know little about. Especially greedy Aussies that see easy money for a couple of years.

Some quality pundits like TRB or Clan can't remember suggested he was a lot fitter and they may be right. However I saw no difference in the player from game one to game ten.



For me he could now look like an Adonis it would make no difference to me, it's his lack of heart that really marks him out.



Lets be right here ten games should be enough for any player to find some form and fitness even if they don't reach Test standard.

Oh he was definitely fitter - clearly so, but that isn't enough to make him into a decent footballer.



Maybe the club have got it wrong, maybe he'll be fantastic next year - but I don't see it and I am 100% convinced that we can do better both with the money and the quota spot - and that is what matters!
