| Quote tamargrace="tamargrace"after watching it i felt sick..disgraceful attack from mr chase..wonder how his other gbh case is going on???? reason why he signed the contract with the inbreds i wonder?? revoke his visa plse..in fact should this be referred to the ukba? if it was in the street it would be an attack with intent which means a criminal conviction which means revoke of visa which means
'"
I can pick quite a few things with that, including things you could get into trouble for.
1. Using the term "inbreds" is very classy of yourself...and against the AUP.
2. Imploring for someone's visa to be revoked is disgraceful, especially when said person is having a kid soon.
3. Attack with intent does not apply in Rugby League, if it did every player ever involved in a fight on the pitch would be arrested.
4. As I said on the Cas board, unless you are Rangi Chase, you cannot say that is was a deliberate attack, it still looks mistimed to me.
Just for humour too, why should it be referred to the UKBA? What would you say? "An England international with a right to work in the UK broke someones jaw and it may have been an accident!"?

Forgot about that one - if I recall, he ran in and stiff-armed Kyle Briggs after Youngquest had been put on the floor with no harm done.
The lad's got issues.'"
If it weren't for the other Fev player putting Youngquest down properly, Briggs could have broke Youngquest's neck - there was more intent to cause harm by Briggs there and he should have walked by the letter of the law, he was saved by his team mate not being as violent.

Well, since moving to the UK how many times has he been arrested and subsequently charged by British Police?
Back on topic:
If every team played with the same effort as Fev did yesterday every week, the league would be much better for it.

Why would he be arrested or charged for not being a stand up family guy?

You know that's not right Gronk - those types of tackles happen all the time; what defines the outcome is how the defenders deal with it. In this instance, he went above the horizontal and was lowered to the ground by Briggs, to prevent harm.
Try as you might, I don't think you can get Rangi off this one; it was a horrible, reckless challenge and a part time player has been left unable to make a living for the coming few months. Your man should have the book thrown at him in my view - no place for that kind of thuggery in RL, the game is tough enough as it is.

Wakefield must play some bizarre tactics if players are faced with the prospect of being dumped on the top of their heads every week!
Briggs was the one doing the lifting, he had the intent to drop Youngquest, his team mate was the one who put Youngquest down safely.

What happened to Ropati is an occupational hazard, it was a reckless challenge but I stand by the fact he didn't mean to do it, if you look at it in slow mo and try and ignore the outcome and who Chase plays for you will see the only contact with Ropati is with Chase's bicep, so to do the damage it did, he must have hit him in a weak spot. You would also see Ropati changes angles just before impact, it goes from a head to head to Chase hitting a lowered Ropati from slightly to one side.
Thuggery is what McGoldrick did, that was a pre-determined strike to someone's face with an elbow, Chase's was an unfortunate accident and one he will cop a ban for.

Yes, and if you watch the slow mo replay on the Cas board (if it hasn't been removed yet), pause it at 11 seconds you will see that Ropati was hit by Chase's bicep - not elbow, not forearm.

| I'd like to see the confrontation between Chase and Ropati if they ever bumped into each other outside Asda. Hmmmmm i fear the angry little man would be spending a few weeks in Pinders. Its surprising how hard a coward can look when there's 12 team-mates behind him, well done Rangi and well done Gronk for defending the indefensible.
