Looking for a nice environment as well as a good curry then I'd say the Bollywood Lounge if your in the city centre. Nearest Belle Vue then I'd go with the Aagrah on Barnsley Road.



Cheap curry but good I'd say Ali's down the bottom of Westgate but it is a take away with a few tables and you eat in the shop window.



Push the boat out and go to the Bollywood Lounge.

I always find the chicken/beef/lamb very dry in Red Chilli

Red Chilli is best very very nice get the family naans very nice and plenty to eat

jonh do you use the sultan up the road from you? we used to get our takeaways from the shalamar in town but they have changed ownership and is crap now

The Curry Houses up the road from me are garbage although OK for a kebab.



Used to go to the Currypot for a take out, but now a big fan of Stanley Balti on Canal Street.

Good size portions and nice moist meat (that sounds wrong!

) which usually means it is good quality not the dregs, a bit more expensive than the bog standard curry house, but only by a couple of quid and well worth it in my opinion.
