Shame really, as he can be a quality player and did perform well at times for us. I'd like to think though that a professional sportsman who felt he wasn't quite getting the role he deserved would apporach it by redoubling his efforts and showing his coach what he could do, rather than breaking an agreed code of conduct clearly designed to benefit players, then throwing his teddy out of the pram when he is reprimanded over it. If he feels hard done by, he ought to get a proper job, from which he'd be dismissed out of hand for any similar breach of rules.

I think the crux of the article is that Kear was a strict disciplinarian where as McNamara will let him do as he pleases.

If he wanted "fun" and did not like a regimented style then he clearly does not understand the concept of being professional. Wakefield are a club on the up under JK and have really progressed well. In recent years Bradford have been going backward and for me McNamara has not delivered as a coach. Scully - you've chosen your bed so lie in it.

I saw some footage of Sculthorpe on Look North the other night. He dropped his shoulder, stepped meaningfully off his left foot, fended an opponent and piled up one of the biggest plates of buffet curry I have ever seen!



Absolutely no class that young man and that, together with the fact that he was without doubt useless during his stint with us, is why I am more than happy that he is now Bratfuds millstone.

I can understand the bitter resentful attitude to Sculthorpe due to the way he has conducted him self at Wakefield and in the press, but as much as you might like to ridicule him for being a lump of lard he did have a good hand off and off load and that still commands respect as slow and cumbersome as he is
