As for the original topic, I know I will upset a few here (normal pre amble cr*p) but Kear out, Mopsey for head coach - there that should keep the plankton on here happy.

I was shouted down when I said Kear knew what he was doing when he signed King, whom I said was a more than adequate replacement for Stosic. Best prop at the club by a mile at the moment and one of the best in SL and has been for weeks even in a poorly performing team.



I'd like an acknowledgment from those who involved (not saying you were), maybe even a lesson learnt that it takes time to settle - sadly that's way beyond the knee jerk pre judgement brigaded who ruin this forum.

Honestly didn't go today. I am pleased the team got a win today, but one swallow doesn't make a summer. I sincerely hope it continues but lets string a few good performances together and then we can announce we are on the up.

You weren't 'shouted down' Vastman, both sides were just as bad in arguing the toss over petty semantics. The difference is, in your view, it is acceptable when you do that, yet not for others. The matter of discussion, from my point at least, was more about the loss of what Stosic brought.



From what I remember of it, it was more about how King had played at that point, rather than potential - and what we saw of him at the start of the season was a pale shade of how he's played the last few games. I'll happily put my hand up and admit I argued with you; it wasn't in suggesting King was a poor signing per se though. I had some doubts, yes, as his injury record and reputation preceded him. However, I don't see that as equal to writing someone off; views can be multi-faceted in the real world. As with almost every player we have ever signed who I've had doubts over, my main view has been one of hope that they'll come good, because first and foremost I am a supporter of the club who wants us to win, therefore I want the players to come good. And, in King's case, the last few games have been better than that.



So, please don't come the arrogant crap about people who are out for reasoned debate being a pre-judgement brigade who are ruining the forum. A forum is meant to be a place of debate, and a lack of any debate would be what would exist if we all bowed down to your superior knowledge and foresight.

IMO Cookes still a waste of money but he did play well today, Team spirit, look at the last try and the way then players respnded, if you can't see it then theres no hope.
