If you've signed Q from Sheffield which I've read here a couple of times you've got a "poor mans" version of Chase to play Stand Off so an organising type would be needed for scrum half.



The key is getting the right blend with the young players too, for every young player you need the likes of Morrison etc in there with them.

Why

Wakefield need to decide who the coach for next season is first. In the interview for the BBC, Kear didn't give the impression of a man who would be staying (to me, but maybe I'm reading too much into it).

Whoever the coach is will have his own idea of who he wants to recruit to add to the squad, and won't want to coach a pre-picked team with players on longer contracts.



We're already well behind virtually all other teams in the recruitment stakes, and need to act quickly, but not in haste, if you get what I mean.

Aside from Tongia all players currently on our books. All British as well aside from Tongia and Morrison, which gives us some scope to bring in a couple of REAL QUALITY imports if we can find them.



I'd like to see us bring in a real marquee signing, maybe at Stand-off, and use Wildie and Davey as interchange hookers.



I'd also like to see us promote some of the youngsters into the matchday squads and see what they can do - Annakin, Walshaw, Spiers, Slater



Just because we have money to spend doesn't mean we should just spend it unless the right players are available. I'd still rather see us promote the youngsters than sign average overseas players.

i'd like british players where possible.



i'd like to see us in a position where hendo can be shaken firmly by the hand and thanked by us all for his tremendous effort and service to us, but utimately released as we're in a position where he cannot be considered good enough.

actually that seems harsh on hendo, but hopefully people get my drift.

The kicking game and passing game can come from Moore all been well.
