| I think Clan has the truth of this one - regardless of what he did at Hull, part of RA's remit at WTW will be to develop young players.
As for the comments about telling porkies at a job interview - yes, most of us have done it, but when you reach a certain level, you can't really do that any more, particularly if you're the only one doing the job; in Agar's case, there's not exactly anyone for him to hind behind or blame if he doesn't do what he said he would do.
Maybe, just maybe, he did what he was told at Hull FC in respect of team selection? My understanding is that the Hetherington woman is not exactly backwards in coming forwards and there strong rumours of Agar experiencing fairly pernicious BoD interference in his job, so it's not beyond the pale to think that his hands were tied over there in a way that they won't necessarily be here.

| So if we did want someone who could develop players.... Surely you would bring someone in with experience I doing so.
And on that point.., what experience of bringing young players through does Richard agar have or is it just ok to talk the talk ?!

Fair point, i understand what may have happened at Hull and what he may be told to do at Wakey, But does he have the experience to do that?

I thought the whole point of having no relegation was to be able to develop youth players without fear of being relegated? It just did not happen at Hull.
O.K. some may argue the play offs are still to be aimed for,but surely it is worth risking not making it if some youth players get a chance to develop their game?

I think both clubs in this instance and a few others have fallen way short in development (Cas have done well) "WHY" its happened i don't know, its open to debate but the one sour note Kear leaves me with is the lack of youngsters coming through. Maybe he got told from upstairs and maybe when all said and done they are just not good enough to step up, who knows.
I have my doubts that Agar "maybe under different rules" is the man for that job, but time will tell.
