At a guess I'd say Macron couldn't provide the extra stock at the right price/volume/timescale and so they were sourced elsewhere. Perhaps they thought they had us over a barrel and we called their bluff. Weren't cas having problems getting additional stock from Puma?

I went to the shop every Saturday for 11 weeks from New Year, to be told each time 'they'll be here in a coupe of weeks'. Now they have arrived just in time for round 12 and at full price, I'll be waiting for next season's.

Just been to the little shop at the ground. There's about one of each size and I got the medium. Might be better check first or go in to town if you just want a shirt.

I was told they were having a few problems with supply in the shop but it was obvious something wasn't right because people were wanting them left right and and they couldn't get them in, so the club sacked them off.

I don't dispute that at all, I just think that the message could be made louder if it were the case, that's all.

There was a supply problem with Macron. I complained to the club and posted on here weeks ago. Davide Longo called me up on my mobile the next day. I apologise to him if I misquote in any way...it's been a few weeks, but I seem to recall him saying there were problems with a batch sent regarding sizing and manufacturing faults and that a lot had been sent back, resulting in no stock. He said they had been having problems with Macron that they were trying to resolve; looks like they've ended up binning them. He mentioned issues with the administration process that I can't quite recall, that were continuing to cause the club problems. Should have taken notes but I was at work. He seemed a very decent and genuine guy.

Peeved? Possibly. Disappointed it's taken so long and that the club have not put anything on the club website as Davide said they would? Yes. Disappointed that I got a call from the club, message on my answerphone, telling me they'll be on sale in the Ridings centre when I live in Beverley? I will be if there aren't any in my size at the ground come next match day.

Also am disappointed that, even though they have my email address as they have for thousands of us, I have had no promotional email to tell me that the Leeds cup tie is Friday night. I found out by accident on here tonight. Ok, it can be argued thats my fault for not checking more closely, but I go on this site and the club site 3 or 4 x a week and have never seen that fact. Match days and kick of times are very variable these days, I know but I heard no announcement (sorry if I missed it but it must have only been done once if I did) at the Cas match either.

I feel that the club has a fair bit of work still to be done on the customer care and merchandising front. I am trying to remain positive in this new era but I am getting some uncomfortable 'seen it all before' feelings regarding bad organisation

I'd rather give my £ ( & free advertising ! ) to Trinity than Leeds utd. But if there's no choice i'll buy lufc stuff for my 5-a-side & gym

(ps: stock plenty sm, med.lge as these sized folk more likely to use them for sports activities and incur more wear & tear = need to replace regularly: last time they were in stock @ BV there was an overhang of xxl)

I was putting some old shirts away in the loft the other day and I couldn't help but notice the fantastic quality of the Kooga shirts from a couple of seasons ago. Eveything embroided and really thick material.

Yep, best quality modern day sports shirts i've seen. Just a shame their design team appeared to have lost the plot.

Was told in the shop that FI TA will be our new kit suppliers if you see AGAR or any of the other staff they are already wearing their branded clothing...anything must be better than Macron genuinley the worst quality kit i can remember us having.
