Can anyone tell me where it's come to light this week that We were prepared to offer DB plus cash? Just sounds like a desperate journalist after filling some dead space in the paper. Its the kind of speculation I expect to see in the Sun or Star not from our local rag!

Basically they are reporting the repeating of old speculation by another newspaper as news.

Why did we offer money plus Brough last year for Cooke? Cooke is not in the same league as Brough

I did my work experience at the Wakefield Express in 1995. The week I was there was when it was first reported about a potential new stadium. A women from another department came in and asked the sports desk if they had a more news about it and was told it was nonsense and they had nothing else to report that week and made it up!



I don't believe the Brough/Cooke story and I also won't believe the new stadium is anything more than paper talk until I see us actually running out there.

Brough and Cooke will play no part in any swap as Cooke wants to team up with Brough again, so they will be playing in the same team again but is it them or us

This is an absolute disgrace Brough and cash for Cooke what a joke. Just shows what ambition the club have. I urge evryone to boycott the club till this mess is sorted out.
