| Quote Disney cat="Disney cat"Do we have 400 die hard fans that would be willing to stump up £1000 for a ten year season ticket ???
Forgot to say if this idea takes off can I have ticket number 1
'"
We've only got marginally more than that willing to stump up £2 a week so it will be a major task to find that many willing to part with a grand.

| Quote M62 J30 TRINITY="M62 J30 TRINITY"Totally agree with the rebranding the wildcats is a daft add on which isn't needed. We can still have daddy cool for the kids but rebrand back to the world famous brand that is Wakefield Trinity RLFC and would start a new beginning.'"
Sorry mate, have to disagree....although I would have to include myself as part of the old school, having supported the club for 40 years, we have to be realistic about this...it's 2013, not 1985, and times have changed.
Branding is as important as anything these days, and that is what has helped to increase our fan base over the past few seasons.
Look at what Salford have just done .. ( I accept that they have got a few squillion extra in the bank than what we have), but renaming/rebranding the club won't have cost them a great deal, and is likely to bring in the crowds (along with one or two extra quality players of course), but I think I have made my point ??

| As well as season ticket, could they not create some sort of members club in which you get... say, that weeks game on DVD, a programme, discount vouchers, news letters, match reports on all age groups, events happening around town etc etc, pay a monthly subscribtion to it and it affords you the same benefits as a season ticket holder?
Cater for people who can't make matches due to work or distance
Employ a few people on minimum wage to stand in town next to a kiosk that paper sellers have promoting the game for the week, get the players to do workshops through the week after training, after all you are paying them to work for you, do this with all ages even adults, charge a small cost, £5 a head.
Sell tickets with the winner able to join in training sessions or sit in the changing room at a game, run a tag tournament in the off season with the winner winning a prize of playing a tag game v a select few of the first team, open it up to Cas and Fev fans too make it a joint venture and split the profits 3 ways.
Run a competition with a fee to enter for designing the home and away kit and training gear.

| Just a quick thought...What about getting fans who have business websites to create an advertisement/back link to the WTW website (give the club more exposure to UK businesses); if the WTW website increases its traffic run payed banner ad advertising etc...
What about organising some events to use the ground in the off season...e.g. music event (anyone know the cribs not my cup of tea but Wakefield lads might do the club a freebie!!), pre season training camps, xmas german market!!! Just firing a few off but you never know...Leeds German market is tiny but the beer tent is absolutely rammed

| Quote Joe Banjo="Joe Banjo"Rather see them pay £104.00 per year to the lottery for 10 year and full price for ST.'"
Don't disagree but I think Disney Cat is looking at a quick way to raise £400,000 which his idea achieves.
Many years ago I took Life Membership for £500 which was a lot of money to me and at a time when we looked like going under and I certainly had my monies worth so it would be a bargain.
I think there may be merit in looking into this idea as I'm sure there would be a few take it up.

| lots of people are saying join the lottery or join club 1873. I have no idea how to do either. And if i dont, hundreds of others wont either (remember on here we are the huge minority of Wakey fans). Next season there should be a highly visable tent/office where people can join on matchdays and get a leaflet on where their money will be spent (player retention, youth systems etc)

| Life membership or Multiple years Season Tickets might be an option but would need to be priced at the right point. No point in us selling 1000 of these if it then means the Club don't then get any income in future years from those 1000 people and that leaves big holes in future years.
Whatever is done has to be to put us into a sustainable position.

Brilliant, if all that info was visable each week, im sure loads would sign up. All the money going to the Trinity youth development it should be renamed the 'Wholey Trinity Lottery'. Whats i'm really getting at is making it really easy for people to become part of the club. In general Humans are lazy creatures so when the club has a captive audience it makes sense to hit them between the eyes and take money off them. Give a limited edition free pin badge, hat or scarf for the first 1000 people and for the next 1000 give something else limited edition, anything like that makes people want to join. If something is limited they get a fear of loss, let people collect these limited edition stuff if they up their spending on the lottery etc....
