Predictable inability to defend your point yet again.

Perhaps all willl become clear soon - we seem to be in a bit of a void at the moment. not just with Murphy but several players - are they staying or going etc. Still, makes me keep coming on here to see what people 'know' before official announcements!

Think Dave "Nosey" Parker does too,he seems to call what's being rumoured on here as gospel,lazy jurnalism yet again.

I hope murph changes his mind if not already a done deal, should hear some news this week for sure....

I don't mind too much if Murphy stays or go's providing that if he does go, we get the right deal for us, not him; if Shudds aren't offering what we want we should tell them, and his agent, to do one.



It doesn't do to be overly-sentimental in these things - that way lies constant disappointment and perpetual mediocrity.

Why do people think its a swop deal? The Giants have cap issues and need to lower the wage bill. They have told 2 players they are free to look for another club. They have found a club (wakey) who wants them. A 3rd player wants to leave as he wants game time, and the same club (wakey) thinks he would be a good aquisition.



At the same time Giants want Murphy and Lee (Lee wants to go but wage demands of the club and player are not matching)



The 2 clubs will have players changing clubs, but not due to a swop deal.

As long as we are taking their players for free (if they're being released) and they are paying for our under contract players, thats fine.

That's what I've been saying from the outset and what I said the last time we did business with Shudds - they're releasing players that are surplus to requirements, and we're signing them.



Murphy should be viewed as a separate transaction and one that we should ensure we're well compensated for.
