It was men against boys today - one thing Wakey didn't lack (apart from the first 10 mins!) was effort. Wakey played as if they'd had no pre-season, which I suppose they hadn't really.

our fans got behind the team well.... the pitch was terrible..... was hoping for a better atmosphere but just seems your fans see it as a day on the beer instead of supporting your team even at 0-0 you lot could have sung for the 47 second you were in the game

Nothing compared to the silence of 12 months ago when we had the game won in 20 mins and Salford fans were heading for the exits well before half time.

2010 v Salford at home, 6th in the league, play-off season before, Brough & Tronc still on the books, dry day. Won 36-6. Attendance 4883.



2011 V Salford at home, bottom of league, off-season of utter turmoil, team of no-names, cold & Wet. Lost 32-6. Attendance 6823.



Don't reckon the attendance was bad considering.

I think there were more Salford fans than you lot are giving credit for. There were quite a few behind the sticks with us!

Bearing in mind the shocking weather I thought the gate was very positive today. I just wonder if all the newbies will return...

The next game being on TV won't help. Rather than giving us another chance they'll watch it on the box and see how we go. Which probably won't be that well to be honest.

Thought Brough had gone by then. He certainly didn’t play. Point still remains though.

I was suprised by the attendance given out. lIn the past I've seen that many spectators given out as 4,749 or summat like that. Still, no point looking back.
