Taking into account the oppossition i thought Moore, Smith and Trout showed up well in the forwards.

I though the replacement hooker looked sharp (Maskill? #22) and Briscoe also.

As ever we looked like we didn't know was going off at K.O and looked like another try could have been conceded as we failed to field a bog standard kick off. This needs some attention.

Washbrook did OK at 6, but i hope we won't see him there again this season.

Sykes did OK too and took his try well, just needs to sharpen up a bit.

I was pleased to see so many youngsters do so well in the second half too.

Except when his opinion is quite obviously wrong. Richard Moore was our best prop by a mile. Of concern to me was the performace of Andy Raleigh who I hope is holding something back for the SL games.

I've no idea how long he played for yesterday but apart from 15 mins against Fev that was his first game after surgery. He's feeling good and looking forward to the season, that's all I know.
