Tony was awesome today both in attack and defence and was defo MOTM for me closely followed by George.

Moore played well but must be a little quicker when kicking on the last cos a few times he got caught out but has the makings of a good halfback and only in his 2nd SL game.

Thought all the forwards went well but Amor did well to come back on after that big hit.

Kicking from deep was hit and miss at times, though Shudds always applied good pressure. Very smart and clinical kicking half-way and less. Tony was class, composed and pushed George for MOTM.

Said it all along, and often alone on here, we 'DO' have the tools but sometimes lack the belief.

When Moore struggled in the second half, Smith steadied the ship.

Thought smith, Tony and Moore all did well.

Agree Moore tailed off in 2nd half he was standing too shallow when kicking on last and he was trying to beat the man who came at him to charge down which he probably would get away with at championship level. That will come with game time and experience playing at this level.



Dale Morton played very well.



At the moment i am eating my hat and showing my backside on town hall steps !!! In relation to Tony who oozed experience and has a goos step and again with game time should be number 1 fb.Brilliant game



And Smith who seems to be half the person he was when he was at Salford. His kicking to touch especially in thats econd hald was first class .



I never thought either was up to SL.

Has Tony been injured this season, or playing in the reserves, or what? His name hasn't been mentioned on here for yonks, now he plays and turns in a performance that, by all accounts, is what we've looking for from a full back all season.

Been out with broken hand then on compassionate leave and was outstanding today,so yes maybe is the answer to the FB problem.

Picking the team for next weekend and for the rest of the season is going to be incredibly tough based on that performance. Dean, Blaymire, Lee, Rinaldi, King, Hyde, Vievers and G Johnson were all missing today, and I reckon that quite a few of them would be in the best possible Wakefield 17. Gledhill, Annekin and Walshaw also appear to be pushing the first team, so there may be selection headaches ahead for Mr Kear!

That brews trouble for us all
