| Think other that a few good early days, I think he has been poor. Not imposed himself as much as last year, not been fit for alot of games. Looked disinterested in odd one or two.
Has been ok but let's not beat around. Right time to move on and look for a better option.

| Quote Tommy Duckfingers="Tommy Duckfingers"Been a good forward for us, when fit. Shame to see him go, more so when the likes of Hickey are with us next year.
He has been probably our best prop when on the field and his cleverness and guile should't be underestimated. If we now keep Korki after letting him go next seasons recruitment will have taken a fair old turn for the worse in my opinion.
Thanks Kingy, sad to see you go.'" a load of rubbish. hickey with a good off season will be 10 times a better player than he is. can't see where you get cleverness and guile from. the last game he played, the only 2 passes he made went to ground. other players had to come back on and do extra time because he was too cream crackered because he had been missing training the usual monday morning phone calls with mystery illnesses. as for korki, don't think he has done much wrong this season run hard and gave 110% taken needles for rib injuries to allow him to play when we wete down on props early season and up to 3 needles a game in his knee late season and missed 2 games. was offered a contract at london when others were jumping ship, yet stayed with wakey. if we get as much commitment from the players we sign this season i will be satisfied

You question where Duckface gets his opinion on King from, that's fair enough.
However his opinion seems the height of logic compared to yours. I'd like to question where anyone could possibly draw an opinion that Hickey is or could be 10x the players King is or was. I see absolutely no evidence to back that up, could you possibly furnish us with the information to prove your point.
Thanks

I disagree, very average and more poor offloads than good. Right time to get rid. But thanks and good luck king.

Well, where to start......
What are you the bold claim about Hickey on? What do you know with certainty what the rest of us don't? You also seem well informed about Monday mornings, who is injured, who turns up for training and who has been offered contracts or not - me I just go on what I see on the pitch.
It would seem like we both want different things from our prop forwards, or Korki-blindness you could call it. You obviously want a nostrel flaring, big bicepted angry beast of a prop who charges in at full tilt and once every couple of months busts a tackle or muscles and wriggles for every extra inch in the collision- all looks very impressive, in fact our lass thinks he's great too. Until then you realise he has either lost the ball or been turtled by the defense or given a penalty away - and as a result we are completely on the back foot.
Me, I prefer me prop to have a bit more about him - an offload and some nouse. OK, Kingy will never give you the kick off return at Hull or chin a Fev player but he will consistently go elbows and knees when he hits the tackle and get a quicker PTB and give his team the best chance of getting on a roll after winning the ruck. King isn't International class anymore, but what he is as a reasonably talented good forward who won't command much of a wage and he is British too. We need squad men and Kingy could have done a job for us I feel, and in my opinion he has more going for him and offers more (all things considered) tha Korkidas or Hickey.
Anyroad, Korki had a stormer yesterday didnt he? Maybe his poorly ribs is the reason he can't land on his front in the tackle?

I think it is because in his first few games for the club he was outstanding and was knocking established pros about and really shining.
People therefore assume that if he could do that then he can only get better. Games since have suggested otherwise but nobody knows why. Perhaps injury, unhappy, lack of games etc?

Gledhill gone to Salford hasn't he? 3 year deal? Started out well but was only a good squad player and not a regular first teamer.

He's fricking 20 years old! He may or may not go on to have a successful SL career but he has shown enough application and ability to be given a chance here.
