Personally i think as far as big words go, you cant beat the following works of Mr Curtis:

I suppose the main difference is that the majority of those words are not actually words at all - merely portmanteau creations from the strangely dichotomous Mr Curtis - hilariously good with all iterations of Blackadder, but vomit-inducingly bad with the likes of Love Actually, Notting Hill, Four Weddings and other bilious, sugar-coated fripperies.

back to the shirt - if it's anything like the same quality of the kooga one of about 5-7 years ago then it'll be worth having. i think the club only did a run of about 100, and they were supurb.

Is it just me or do we always seem to be in an era of success or resurgence when we wear a shirt simular to this years home one.

I know but the season is one of the most memorable for obvious reasons and off field it produced a legacy that's so far unmatched.



Most of that decade is memorable for the iconic players that were pictured wearing that famous shirt, Steve Ella, Mark Graham etc

And for that reason we should never change!!!!!!!!

in some ways i agree with you, but overall we stank that year. think king wally played 10/11 games, of which we won a fair few. we should also discount the boxing day debarcle that year, and think as to how many games we won when he returned home.....



having wally lewis at the club was brilliant, and as exciting as it gets and i still have really fond memories of that season from the frozen pitch at the recreation ground to his farcical sending off at headingley. however we had some players at the time like nigel stephenson who were simply there for what they could get, and in my opinion didn't always put a full shift in.



there was a smattering of promising youngsters. however we were really feeling the effects of being a selling club at the time. topliss/skeritt/kelly/juliff et al.... sad times masked by the signing of a global star.
