| I think it's fairly decent considering where we've been. It does really boil down to whether joe public in Wakefield wants a professional club in the city. Those that have already bought, I thank you. If we stay at 2000 I'd like to see an average walk up per game of at least 4000.

Are you till looking to push Season Ticket sales or, do you think that we have reached the point where those that want a season ticket will have bought one.
Considering where we were when the first S.O.S. went out, I think most fans are delighted with where we are right now. The squad looks competitive and the new season is only a few weeks away and it will be great when we are all talking about the weekly games again.
On behalf of all supporters of Wakefield, can I say thank you for getting the club out of he mire and hope that we all have a successful and happy new year !

| I think having got through the last 4 months, I'd be more then delighted to average crowds of 6000 because in terms of cash and cash flow, it will now benefit us more over the course of the season, then it would to have a late surge of season ticket sales. Having said that, I certainly wouldn't discourage late buyers either!!!

| Guaranteed income vs potential income based on how the team you've assembled competes?
Tough one

| Yep the great unknown. However we managed to hold on to quite a few in the 2011 season despite the poor squad assembled. We need everyone possible to keep the faith and attend every match regardless of whether we are on a good run or a bad one. Because at some point we are bound to have one. And the term 'supporter' then realised its true value.

| I know of three fans who have yet to renew but will. If you replicate that we could be looking at a few hundred more.

that's an interesting one... I would suggest we naturally pull supporters from an area overlapping with two other professional clubs. And... Due tothe more mobile workforce there are considerable tranches of fans of oter clubs living within the city boundary.
So where DO we pull fans from?
The old adage of "build it and they will come" is a falsehood.... We had a lot of people through the gates last year ( regardless of the monetary value of their contribution) these people are key.
Not that they come back... But where did they come from... Their demographic... How far did they travel? How did they get to the ground, what motivated them to come? ( I don't accept that free tickets are the draw... Free tickets will only attract people who want to be there, I have been offered free tickets for AFL and Waratahs games, but I am not interested in the games) the numbers suggest... Nay confirm... a market out there.
Just a footnote... I wanted to follow the boxing day game via the web.... But despite searching for several hours I could not find any press release which gave the kick off time.
Ps this isn't a rant or a lecture... Just some observations.

| An articulated tome. I would fully concede their are areas ie marketing, where we are woefully short on what we need. The trouble being we find ourselves in catch 22. No money to speculate on employing people who may or may not improve revenue. Looking at Salford as an example, the dr has obviously ploughed in money into the infrastructure to try and improve Salford long term profitability. Unfortunately we do not have someone like this with the capital to embark on such projects. Thus you are left trying to balance expenditure with income, and hope that you see some extra income develop along the way, that can be ploughed back in, thus starting an upward spiral. Only time will tell. Or a nice rich benefactor?

| You make a great point OB.
Those that came, came partly because it was a good deal but partly because we were entertaining and the atmosphere was great.
AG and JE in my opinion didn't so much have bad ideas, they just didn't execute them well, or possibly at the right time.
Getting people in dragged more in. That plan worked I have no doubt. I think they just lost sight of their main priority for getting them in was to increase the income.
I'm reading the new Wakefield Trinity book and I'm amazed at some of the low crowd numbers we've had watching some great players of the past.
We've done something to change that. We need to find a way of keeping them and increasing the income as well.
No easy task but it's easier now they've been at least once before
