I'd be surprised if Tongia signs a new contract with us. Didn't get that impression on Friday.

We shouldnt offer silly money but a decent contract for Tongia even for 1 year to put himself in the window. If he enjoys it he could stay.

The only way the public will pay to watch in large numbers is if there is a worthy product. In trying to expand the game, the RFL have brought the game to its knees for their core customers in the heartlands. A sweeping statement blaming the fans is not the answer, but finding out why people are not watching will go some way towards helping if acted upon.

Good to see the two young ones given a contract, we should offer Tongia a one as well. I know he looks a bit risky but he can come up with some tricks and pace as well, he'll keep opposition defences on their toes.
